The winner of the first international Economics Olympiad final is Jakub Kučerák from Gymnazium Jura Hronca in Slovakia. Czech, Slovak and Hungarian students participated today in the Economics Olympiad contest organised by Institute of Economics Education. There were 15 participants overall, 5 from each country. The participants were tested by oral and written exam. All testing was done in English.
The second place belongs to Šimon Pekar, student of Bilingvalne gymnazium Milana Hodzu, third place took Jan Pytela from Gymnazium Matyase Lercha in Brno, Czech Republic.
The international final round took place at Czech National Bank in Prague. The international final round is an amazing oppurtunity how to compare students from different countries.
